West Brom will be without skipper Jonathan Greening against his former club due to a knee injury that could rule him out for two months. Centre-half Ryan Donk may play despite a groin problem as Abdoulaye Meite, Jonas Olsson, Leon Barnett and Neil Clement are all out.
United will be without an entire team of players due to their massive injury list. Fabio da Silva and Danny Welbeck were both hurt in the 2-1 FA Cup win over Spurs. Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Anderson, Rafael da Silva, Jonny Evans and Owen Hargreaves are also out. Cristiano Ronaldo, however, will play after recovering from a stomach bug.
