Hartlepool caretaker manager Chris Turner is sweating on the fitness of Antony Sweeney and Michael Mackay for the rearranged trip to Oldham.Sweeney suffered an ankle injury and Mackay hurt his ribs in the first half of Pools' shock 2-0 FA Cup victory against Stoke last weekend and had to be substituted.
Jamie McCunnie came on at right-back to replace Sweeney and is likely to start, while David Foley scored a stunning goal after coming on for Mackay and he would be Turner's only striking option to play alongside Joel Porter.
James Brown and Willie Boland (both knee) remain long-term absentees.
The Boundary Park clash was postponed on Saturday due to a frozen pitch, but officials have moved quickly to reschedule the clash for Monday evening.
