| The 23-year-old joined Blackburn last summer in a season-long loan move from Chilean side Audax Italiano, there was an option to buy the player at the end of the season, but nothing has been sorted out yet for the forward who has made just 18 appearances this season and scored two goals. Villanueva has made no secret of the fact that he wishes to remain at Ewood Park and Audax Italiano chairman Claudio Tessa has no objection. But Tessa claims that a host of anonymous clubs are interested in the players services, he told La Tercera: "We have already received several offers for his transfer. Two of them are concrete, one is from Europe and the other is from another continent. |
