Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri lambasted striker David Trezeguet for complaining about being substituted in his side's Champions League defeat to Chelsea.The Italian coach admitted that some of his substitutions are debatable, but insisted that his judgement should not be questioned by his players.

"I make mistakes but I had reasons (for the substitution)," Ranieri said.

Trezeguet, who has fallen out with France coach Raymond Domenech, was close to leaving Turin when the Old Lady won promotion back to Serie A two years ago after their 2006 match-fixing demotion.
