Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is thrilled with the way that the Blues' notoriously moody striker Didier Drogba has acquitted himself since he has taken over the reins.

The powerhouse Ivorian appears rejuvenated after a sluggish start to the season, having scored three goals in his last four outings and looking really up for it every game - a stark contrast to most of his appearances under Luiz Felipe Scolari.

"From the first day, when I saw him at Watford in the FA Cup, and after that, for me he has been a guy who has been working hard," Hiddink was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

"I don't want to judge what happened before I came here but outside of training sessions with the whole group, we are also doing a specific program with him and that is paying off.
